Summary

Cellipont Bioservices is a high-growth, cell therapy CDMO and a leading partner for the pharmaceutical industry in the development and manufacturing of new treatments for patients worldwide. We are in search of a Facilities Technician I to join our team! We are looking for individuals with talent, ideas, and passion who are essential to our mission: to help people live better, healthier lives.

The Facilities Technician I will support the execution of GMP manufacturing batch records and ensure necessary supply levels in the manufacturing areas. This role will be responsible for supporting the overall GMP manufacturing process. Through the application of broad knowledge of theories and principles utilized to solve operational, as well as routine tasks in the production of cell therapies for GMP manufacturing.

The Role

Perform daily facilities walkthroughs to identify action items.

Schedule and work closely with other staff on various projects and/or repairs.

Build strong relationships with vendors.

Keep an inventory and restock manufacturing supplies as needed.

Keep an inventory of all household supplies (light bulbs, batteries, cleaning supplies).

Maintain and update SOPs and Work Instructions.

Shop for items as needed.

Monthly/weekly purchase order submission, get approval, place orders, and track delivery status.

Secure Facility at end of the day when needed - all doors locked, security system armed.

Light household chores, take out all trash 2-3 time a day or as needed.

Respond to incoming calls and greet guests.

Oversee onsite vendors as needed.

Prepare facility for occasional events or visits.

Maintain a professional calendars, schedule and attend meetings.

Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.

The Candidate

High school diploma or GED required

1-2 years of experience working in a GMP facility preferred (will consider reduced experience with increased levels of education in applicable discipline)

Ability to perform minor electrical repairs

Basic understanding of HVAC systems

Ability to perform basic plumbing repairs

Working with paint and other chemicals

Highly organized, meticulous, detail-oriented, and thorough

Ability to multitask and prioritize well while working independently

Positive attitude, team player, capable of working well with a vast array of high-quality vendors

Personable, gracious, and polite, with excellent people skills and proactively identifies and resolves problems

Able to perform physical, hands-on tasks in order to assist the household and staff office to run well. Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Flexible and able to accommodate spontaneous changes to routines and plans

Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual, and honest. Practical, efficient and takes direction well

Flexibility to work weekends and evenings and able to accommodate spontaneous changes to routines and plans

Strong communication & written skills

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Ability to work in a lean, action-oriented organization and demonstrate a strong work ethic

Must be flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally with teams.

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with primary support functions.
