We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Pennsylvania. In this contract position, you will be responsible for delivering technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and peripherals. This role requires a proactive individual with strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments.
Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues independently, providing clear and timely solutions to users.
• Educate users on the proper usage and functionality of systems and equipment.
• Offer procurement recommendations and develop technical specifications for departmental purchases.
• Evaluate the local computing environment and propose technology or process improvements.
• Assist in analyzing technical products and systems, leading technology evaluation and implementation projects as needed.
• Conduct testing for product evaluations and deployments, ensuring solutions align with user requirements.
• Maintain and update inventory records to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Follow established procedures to update tickets and assignments efficiently.• Strong commitment to customer service with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Proven ability to communicate and interact with diverse individuals across all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills, contributing to high-quality service delivery.
• Familiarity with academic or research operations and related information system applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer hardware, Active Directory, configuration management, and Windows.
• Ability to analyze and recommend technical solutions tailored to departmental needs.
• Experience in testing and deploying technology solutions for varied user environments.
