Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will oversee the intake process for new patients, ensuring accurate data management, coordinating prior authorizations, and supporting seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and register new patients into the system efficiently and accurately.

• Enter patient information and medical data with precision to maintain accurate records.

• Manage prior authorization requests, ensuring timely submission and follow-ups.

• Collaborate with physicians to obtain necessary documentation and updates on patient care.

• Respond to inbound calls, providing excellent support to patients and healthcare providers.

• Assist with benefit verification, billing processes, and claims administration as needed.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient data and documentation.

• Support the clinic’s daily operations by performing administrative tasks as required.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.• Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients and staff.

• Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with EHR systems, such as Allscripts, is a plus.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with prior authorizations, benefit verification, and claims administration is desirable.

• Proficiency in using CRM systems and handling inbound calls.

• Knowledge of medical billing and financial services is advantageous.
