Qualifications:

EIPA Score of 4.0 or higher

Previous experience interpreting in K-12 settings

Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and students

Location: Stockton, CA

Responsibilities:

Provide interpretation and transliteration services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom settings

Collaborate with teachers and support staff to facilitate effective communication and ensure students' access to the curriculum

Attend IEP meetings and participate in the development of communication goals as needed

Maintain professional standards and stay updated on best practices in educational interpreting

Support students in developing communication skills and promote social interactions within the school community
