Our client is seeking a permanent full-time workers' compensation and insurance defense litigation attorney to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves managing a broad range of legal tasks, including representing clients in hearings, preparing legal documents, and offering sound counsel. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of workers' compensation law and a dedication to delivering high-quality legal services.

• Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.

• Conduct depositions to gather testimony and build strong legal arguments.

• Prepare and respond to motions and discovery requests in alignment with case strategy.

• Attend hearings and other legal proceedings to present cases effectively.

• Provide expert legal consultation to clients, offering strategic guidance tailored to their needs.

• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to manage insurance defense litigation claims.

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to billable hours requirements.

• Draft comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.

• Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and insurance defense practices.

• 5-15+ years of experience in workers' compensation and insurance defense litigation.

• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and related claims processes.

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting depositions and preparing legal motions.

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting complex legal documents.

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia and in good standing.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
