LHH is seeking an Automation and Controls Management Engineer to join our client's team in Little Rock, AR in a full-time, direct hire position with an incredible opportunity for personal development in a great organization.
The Automation and Controls Management Engineer (or, ACME) is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, performance tuning, and recovery procedures for mission-critical automation systems. This role also serves as the technical expert for all areas of automation and control systems.
The ACME will collaborate with IT, Operations, and third-party automation providers to ensure a robust support system that guarantees high system availability and quick escalation and resolution of system issues.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 2 years of professional level job related experience; OR 5 years of professional level job related experience.
2-5 years of experience as an Automation and Controls Systems Engineer designing and developing new control systems
2-5 years of manufacturing experience
2-5+ years of SQL experience
2-5 years of Any ERP experience
2-5 years of Aveva Wonderware experience
2-5 years of Higher Data Flow, inventory transfer, etc.
2+ years of PLCs
2-5 years of MES or similar platform like Ignition
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent tasks/assignments simultaneously, attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure (in an extremely fast paced environment), meet deadlines, make effective decisions, and handle frequent interruptions.
Strong analytical, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to lead team meetings and provide valuable input in upper management discussion
