Brooksource is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Data Architect to support our client’s Outage Management initiative. This role is critical in shaping the data strategy and architecture that supports real-time decision-making and executive-level reporting. You will work closely with C-suite stakeholders, development teams, and data product managers to ensure robust, scalable, and insightful data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data architectures to support the Outage Management platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy.
Collaborate with C-suite stakeholders to present data-driven insights and architectural strategies in a clear, business-focused manner.
Lead requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional teams to define and validate data features and reporting needs.
Support development teams in building and deploying data products using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, delivering actionable insights on outage trends and performance metrics.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Utilize Python for data processing, automation, and integration tasks within the data pipeline.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data assets related to the project.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a similar role.
Proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and automation.
Strong command of SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
Hands-on experience with Tableau for building executive-level dashboards and reports.
Deep understanding of AWS data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
Experience with Alteryx for data blending and advanced analytics.
Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the telecommunications industry or with outage management systems.
Familiarity with data product management and product lifecycle.
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL frameworks, and orchestration tools.
