Sensor Fusion Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Multi-Sensor Fusion Engineer to join our client in Texas who specialize in high-performance inertial navigation systems and inertial measurement units. They develop compact, ruggedized navigation solutions used in aerospace, defense, robotics, and autonomous systems.

You will join the R&D team and should be self-sufficient in your area of expertise and comfortable working independently on a small focused team.

As specific R&D technologies transition to prototype stage and beyond, engineering may be responsible for building and managing a small team in their field of expertise to support continued development.

Skills:

State estimation, sensor modeling

Tightly-coupled multi-sensor fusion (GNSS, visual nav, ranging etc)

Algorithm simulation & analysis (Matlab and/or Python)

Vision-based navigation (map/feature matching, optical flow)

We are looking for 10+ years experience, or 5+ years with vision-based navigation.
