Summary
Bacon Plumbing, Inc. (BPI) is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple commercial projects ranging from $10,000 to $1.5 million in plumbing scope. This position will be responsible for managing and supervising plumbing crews on construction sites, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to regulations. Other duties include coordinating schedules, materials, and inspections, while also mentoring plumbers, resolving issues, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee plumbing crews, including plumbers and apprentices, ensuring they are properly trained and follow safety standards.
Schedule work, manage material delivery, and coordinate inspections with relevant authorities.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installations.
Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and resolve conflicts during construction.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with project managers, general contractors, and other trade superintendents.
Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and safety procedures.
Train, mentor, and evaluate plumbing staff to ensure quality and efficiency.
Monitor project progress, track expenses, and ensure work is completed within the allocated budget and timeline.
Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Journeyman Plumbing License or higher required
3+ years plumbing and construction experience
Supervisory experience preferred
In-depth understanding of plumbing systems, installation practices, and relevant codes.
Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
Capacity to identify and resolve plumbing issues and construction challenges.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain detailed records.
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
