HAI Robotics is seeking a top robotics engineer skilled in warehouse automation who understands the agile mindset, various systems (AGV, ACR, AMR), and DevOps philosophies. Responsibilities
You will work independently with little guidance or in a team as a mentor to other engineers
Configure firmware for hardware equipment such as robots, conveyors, servers, scanners, etc.
Implementation support for testing procedures for proof of concept for the Sales Team
Creating and designing software to test and script hardware materials
Supporting clients during and post-deployment to ensure HAI products are running smoothly
Support Demo-Center operations for Hardware, Software, and IT
Testing full-integrated HAIQ-Warehouse Management System with customers or vendor sub-systems
Implement complex and large-scale warehouse automation projects including installation of AGV, ACR, AMR, conveyor system and associated equipment, development of testing and acceptance criteria, and project management
Conduct site inspection & evaluation, and manage grid line marking, and floor DM code sticking
Perform automation system integration test
Be the technical expert in resolving technical issues around automation equipment
Assist in software testing during project implementation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Robotics/Electrical Engineering OR equivalent experience that encompasses the knowledge gained through a degree
1-2+ experience in AGV ACR or AMR solution implementation
Knowledge of WMS integration and PLC
Analytical mind and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
1-2+ Field experience in warehouse automation, material handling equipment, and warehouse operations.
Familiar with Linux/UNIX, SQL, and the ability to write scripts to automate tasks.
Basic knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and routers
Analytical mind and outstanding communication skills
Extensive travel (75%)
