Overview:
Our client is an established oil and gas company with head office in downtown Calgary. Enjoy optional work-from-home Fridays.
Responsibilities:
You’ll support senior management in business processes including contracts and compliance. Specific duties include:
Initial review, commentary and processing of business and non-business contracts in internal systems
Assisting with execution and delivery of documents internally, externally and electronically
Diarizing expiry dates and notifications to appropriate persons
Reviewing and proof-reading transaction confirmations for accuracy
New counterparty KYC (Know Your Customer) and record keeping
Records management, various administrative duties
Responding to audit requests
Regulatory fillings
Process improvement, including initial projects will probably be straightening out their inter-office purchase approval process in Pioneer (s/w) and the DOA process
Requirements
Fluency in English and Mandarin
2-5 years of corporate/commercial legal and/or office administration experience
Experience in oil & gas nice to have
Graduate of a legal assistant program nice to have
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and document management software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong proof reading, grammar and editing skills and strong attention to detail
