Job Description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Neo4j/GCP Developer for our client in the IT Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Etobicoke, ON (Remote)

Salary: $70.00-$75.00/Hourly

Role: Neo4j/GCP Developer

Primary Skills: Java

Role Description: The Neo4j/GCP Developer must have 5+ years of experience.

Must Have Skills:

Neo4j Expertise:

- Understanding of graph databases and Neo4j architecture.

- Experience with Cypher query language, graph algorithms for querying and managing data in Neo4j.

- Knowledge of Neo4j deployment and configuration, including clustering and backup strategies.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Proficiency:

- Knowledge of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Compute Engine for hosting Neo4j.

- Familiarity with GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and VPC

- Experience with data transfer and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes between different databases and Neo4j.

- Proficiency in backend programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js, to handle data transfers and integration between the database, UI, and Neo4j.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automating the deployment and management of Neo4j and related services in GCP.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, UI/UX Designers, and Cloud Architects.

- Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
