Primary Function of this Role

In a highly competitive and sensitive market, the incumbent is responsible for managing the development of and driving the business strategy in close collaboration with the General Manager and operational heads.

In addition to ensuring sales team productivity is in line with sales targets and monitoring the sales progress by leading & supervising the sales team, the overseeing of Key Account management and customer relationships will be a key function of the role.

The incumbent will take the lead in product innovation and best practice in the development and execution of new products & services whilst ensuring effective communication with all parties concerned throughout the implementation process.

The position will be based in Hong Kong but may require occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and review sales strategies and targets in line with Business Plans;

• Drive best practice for existing and new business and provide direction and support in the development of new service lines. Identify new products/services and explore new market opportunities proactively;

• Give guidance and work closely with the Sales Manager in key account management and customer relationships; oversee CRM process;

• Develop and guide the sales team in performing to optimum levels and, where necessary, provide training;

• Keep abreast with the changes in the business environment and provide recommendations and effective action plans;

• Manage bids and tenders with proper approvals in line with company / Group policy and authority limits;

• Leading the sales teams for negotiating bids on optimal pricing, commercial / risk terms when entering into service contracts;

• Provide quality sales report and analysis for Management review and record; to ensure appropriate customer measures and KPI’s are maintained;

• Manage the sales commission scheme for all staff;

• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing/ new/ potential clients; to provide professional advice to the clients to achieve the best solutions subject to the service requirements;

• Maintain close collaboration between Sales and Operations teams to ensure that the client’s requirement is achieved and the service is properly delivered in line with SLA’s;

• Participate in special sales projects of other hub offices within the region. Work with the respective local business leaders and sales teams to achieve the business goals;

• Ensure strict compliance to CRM policies and practices.

Requirement for the Post

• Holder of Bachelor degree / Tertiary in any discipline

• Minimum 15 years’ of working experience in sales or business development, in which 10 years’ of management experience in senior level

• Minimum 3-5 years’ of commercial / sales experience in the security industry or Financial institutions.

• Good track record in negotiation of large bids and tenders for MNC’s and large local corporations

• Results-oriented, self-driven with a clear determination to succeed

• Good command of English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin (both written and spoken)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

• Mature, good leadership skills, ability to deal with difficult situations
