Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker Machine Operator to join our growing team in the custom closet and home storage solutions industry. This role focuses on the precision machining and assembly of high-end melamine-based closet systems, garage systems, and pantries using state-of-the-art equipment. Ensure consistent quality and precision to meet high-end design standards that simulate California Closets-style aesthetics. The ideal candidate is passionate about craftsmanship, comfortable working with CNC machinery and related software, and thrives in a production environment that demands accuracy and high-end finishing.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain advanced woodworking machinery including:

CNC Panel Saw (Holzma HPP30038/8)

Vertical CNC Machine (HOGMA DRILLTEQ V-200/055 HSK)

Edgebander (HOGMA EDGETEQ S-200 F SS)

Utilize specialized software such as:

Cut Rite Key SN 84969

Hexagon CAD/CAM software

Label printing software (e.g., Zebra)

Perform CNC machine setup and calibration using appropriate tooling and startup packages.

Accurately measure and cut melamine panels using rulers, calipers, and cutting software.

Ensure consistent quality and precision to meet high-end design standards that simulate California Closets-style aesthetics.

Assist in material handling, loading/unloading of melamine sheets, and preparation of finished products.

Work with cleat-mounting systems to ensure closet systems achieve a clean, wall-mounted finish.

Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to OSHA and internal safety protocols.

Collaborate with team members across production, design, and installation departments to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related manufacturing role.

Proficiency in operating CNC and panel saw machinery; formal training a plus.

Strong understanding of melamine materials and working with laminated particle board.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, measurements, and production specs.

Familiarity with industrial dust collection systems such as Oneida 10 HP and ductwork.

Knowledge of compressed air systems, including Schultz rotary screw air compressors and air dryers.

Comfortable using digital and analog measurement tools with strong attention to detail.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
