Parts Specialist – Forklift & Heavy Equipment (Customer Service, Inventory, Sales Support)

We’re looking for a polite, professional, and organized Parts Department Specialist to join our busy forklift and heavy equipment business!
This is NOT just a "driving a forklift" job.
This is a professional parts position focused on supporting service operations, managing inventory, selling parts, providing top-notch customer service, and helping keep businesses running strong.
If you love solving problems, working with different people, and organizing systems — all while staying polite, professional, and reliable — this could be a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Help customers and technicians identify and order the correct parts.
Always represent Landmark Equipment with a polite, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Recommend additional parts and solutions to boost service and sales.
List, post, and manage surplus parts online (eBay, SourceLine — training provided if needed).
Pickup and deliver parts locally as needed (company vehicle provided).
Maintain accurate inventory using computer systems (QuickBooks, Word, Excel, eBay, etc.).
Keep the parts department clean, safe, and organized.
Build customer trust through knowledgeable support and professional service.
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Dress appropriately: jeans, clean collared shirt, sturdy work shoes — always be clean, presentable, and ready to represent the Landmark Equipment brand.
Qualifications:
Familiar with forklift, heavy equipment, or automotive parts (or willing and able to learn quickly).
Comfortable using computers: QuickBooks, eBay, Word, and inventory platforms (training available).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Polite, professional, and able to work respectfully with a wide variety of personalities.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to occasionally lift heavy parts (up to 50 lbs).
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
(No weekends — enjoy your evenings and weekends off!)
Pay and Benefits:
Hourly Wage: $24.25 – $26.75 per hour, depending on experience.
