Job Description

MBS is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs visual quality checks and takes appropriate action to correct defects.

Performs complex dimensional layouts to complete products without fixtures

Completes complex weldments without guidance or supervision

Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds, and cleans metal.

Produces work daily that is consistently accurate.

Provides feedback to supervisor on problems with the welding process.

Must generate quality welds

Extensive blueprint reading and weld symbol understanding.

Capability to MIG weld

Capability to TIG weld

Must be able to Spray Arc

Capability to weld all types of materials.

Must be able to assist in fixture design on specific products.

Ability to perform complex dimensional calculations.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fit up issues.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding machine issues.

Ability to set up welding machines to different types of materials.

Must create quality welds, identify poor welds, and know how to repair

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED

Prior experience in welding fabrication and all necessary certification in

welding, metals fabrication, machining.

Demonstrates attention to detail and a high degree of precision in executing assigned tasks.

Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.

Must be able to lift40- 80lbs safely.

Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or 2nd-shift as needed to meet deadlines.
