PURPOSE
The Bell Attendant at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel is responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient arrival and departure experience for all guests. This role involves assisting guests with their luggage, providing information about the hotel’s amenities, and ensuring guests have a memorable and pleasant stay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
· Guest Assistance: Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure. Assist guests with luggage, including loading and unloading from vehicles and deliver guest mail or packages as needed. Escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief orientation of the room and hotel facilities.
· Service Delivery: Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently. Provide directions and information about the local area, hotel amenities and services. Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests.
· Communication and Coordination: Ensure effective and professional communication via radio, phone or in-person with other departments, such as front desk, housekeeping and concierge, to ensure seamless guest service. Log and report any maintenance issues or guest concerns.
· Safety and Security: Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
· General Duties: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bell desk and storage areas.
· Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Education and Experience:
· One (1) year of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role.
Skills and Abilities:
· Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
· Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to provide clear and concise information.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
· Problem Solving: Quick thinker with the ability to anticipate guest needs and address or resolve guest issues effectively.
· Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team members.
PREFERRED
Education and Experience:
· One (1) year of experience in Valet or Bell services role.
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
