Description:
· Provide internal and external customers with reliable availability dates on daily basis.
· Work directly with production, supply chain, service, sales, and customer support personnel.
· Work directly with logistics manager to expedite parts based on critical timelines and cost.
· Manage Machine Down Reporting and Parts Escalation with vendors and plants
· Manage tactical purchases working in conjunction with parts planners.
· Create purchase orders, interface with vendors, expedite critical requirements and ensure timely arrival of product.
· Maintain SAP integrity.
· Reduce excess inventory by returning to supplier, transferring to other BOMAG facilities, or recommending for scrap.
· Maintain relationships/contacts with customer and vendors. Requirements:
· Must be an organized multitasker and be able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
· Excellent telephone and email communication skills
· Exceptional time management and organizational skills
· A keen eye for details
· Multitask, solve problems, manage time, adapt to changing work conditions, and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Analyze and present data effectively
· Experience with web analytics tools and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office programs
· Knowledge of SAP preferred
