Operator: Rockford, Illinois

Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift. As an Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating production machinery, performing maintenance, ensuring product quality, maintaining documentation, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities of the Operator:

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to meet production goals.

Perform regular preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment.

Complete necessary quality checks and maintain accurate production records.

Ensure production equipment is functioning optimally, reporting any issues to maintenance.

Follow safety protocols and wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Participate in continuous improvement efforts and contribute to team meetings focused on quality and efficiency.

Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required; additional technical education or certification preferred.

MDH. 1-2 Years of experience.

Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Basic understanding of safety regulations, including Lock out/Block out/Tag out policies.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on production equipment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues.

Pay for Operator: Starting at $19.75/hour.

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. OT on Saturday or Sunday
