Linux Systems Administrator II (TS/SCI with FS Polygraph )

Position: Linux Systems Administrator II

Location: Columbia, MD

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with FSP Polygraph

DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator Level 2 to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. This role is vital to ensuring reliable and secure system infrastructure across client, server, storage, and network environments, and includes both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.

Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.

Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems and infrastructure.

Support client/server/storage/network/mobile device operations and monitoring.

Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.

Optimize system operations and perform system capacity analysis and planning.

Troubleshoot IT systems and provide detailed feedback for escalated issues.

Provide support for hardware dispatch and remain involved through problem resolution.

Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, including installation, network configuration, and system performance enhancements.

Required Education and Experience:

Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Pay and Benefits:

This is an active and expanding program. The compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 - $140,000.00. This position comes with our full benefit package that includes Paid Health Benefits, Paid Time Off (PTO), Matching 401k contributions, and more.

Security Clearance Requirement

Must possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope polygraph.
