The following are the minimum qualifications for this position. For further consideration, applicants must clearly identify how qualifications are met within the education and/or experience sections of the applications. The ideal candidate, at minimum, must meet one of the following options.

Alternative 1:

Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems

And

12 combined work experience in multiple areas of assigned responsibility (e.g., infrastructure, database administration, software development, business process analysis) as specified by the agency position description & job posting.

Alternative 2:

36 mos. combined work experience in multiple areas of assigned responsibility (e.g., infrastructure, database administration, software development, business process analysis) including 12 mos. combined work experience as specified by the agency position description & job posting.

Alternative 3\:

equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.

Additional Preferred qualifications:

EPIC Willow Certification

Licensed Pharmacist (RPh or PharmD), Pharmacy Technician

Experience with pharmacy automation systems and inventory management tools

About Us:

OhioMHAS Information Services is the technology arm of the third largest cabinet level agency in the state of Ohio. We develop and support technology for several critical business solutions used by the agency as well as by county and local behavioral health care providers across the state.

What you’ll do at OhioMHAS:

The Epic Analyst – Willow is responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of the Willow pharmacy module, which supports safe and efficient medication management across the behavioral health hospitals. This role serves as a critical liaison between pharmacy operations clinical teams, and IT ensuring the Epic Willow configurations align with pharmacy workflows, regulatory standards, and agency goals. The analyst plays a key role in enhancing patient safety, pharmacy efficiency, and interoperability within the broader electronic health record system.

Build, configure, test and maintain the Epic Willow application to support pharmacy workflows.

Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, supply chains, and IT staff to assess needs and translate business requirements into functional system designs.

Ensure medication orders, inventory management, dispensing, and administration workflows are accurately reflected in Epic.

Support the integration of Willow with related modules and third-party system (e.g., automated dispensing cabinets, pharmacy robots, medication databases).

Assist in Epic upgrades, change management processes, and testing cycles to ensure pharmacy systems remain current and compliant.

Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution to application related problems.

This is a part-time hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 33 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. This position is located within our Central Office at 30 E Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215.
