To manage all functions and all assets associated with the production of quality hatching eggs at the lowest possible costs for the Louisiana Breeder Complex

Manage Breeder production issues.

Oversee execution of plan for placements; vaccinations; bird movements; pertinent paperwork and other duties associated with breeder production.

Meetings with staff and farm managers and farm owners

Meet with vendors to obtain project bids/recommendations and deal with billing issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field is desirable.

Must have 5+ years in Breeder management or equivalent experience.

Must have a high level of initiative and be a self-starter.

Must have strong analytical skills.

Must have good interpersonal skills

Must excellent verbal/written communication skills.

Must have good organizational and time management skills.

Must have good computer skills.

Must have ability to follow and enforce all company policies.
