Surgery - Plastic Physician

Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons to provide locums call coverage for plastics, hand, and face surgery.

Coverage needed - 7a7a Friday through Monday

As soon as credentialed ongoing (up to two weekends a month)

Seeking providers who have experience with reconstructive trauma surgery

The candidate should be actively involved in the practice of reconstructive plastic surgery, specifically relating to trauma of the upper and lower extremities, hand surgery and craniofacial trauma as well as experience in general plastic surgery.

They should have current privileges and be taking calls at a hospital with level 2 or 1 trauma designation.

Details:

Inpatient Only

Strong OR and specialist support (trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery, etc)

No ICU Duties

Will not respond to codes

EPIC EHR

Procedures Required:

Complex facial trauma reconstruction, both soft tissue and skeletal (full face upper, mid face and mandible, coverage of cranial defects), both adult and pediatric

Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction including soft tissue (tendon, peripheral nerve, and vascular below the elbow, and burns) and skeletal, both adult and pediatric.

Complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction, adult and pediatric.

General plastic and reconstructive surgery, breast and body

Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction and skeletal (distal radius, wrist and hand), both adult and pediatric
