Project Estimator / Sales Quoting

Title: Sales Estimator / Quotation Specialist

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (NW Suburbs)

Hire Type: Contract to Hire (6 months)

Salary: $70Kâ $85K

Benefits: Bonus, profit sharing, and 401(k) match offered upon conversion to direct hire

This role is 100% onsite and offers the chance to work closely with all divisions of the company, including Technicians and Application Engineers. Itâ s an exciting position for someone with strong technical aptitude and industry knowledge in sectors such as Power Generation, HVAC, Data Centers, or Construction.

Job Duties:

Develop accurate and timely quotes for a wide range of technical projects

Interact cross-functionally with various teams including engineering and field service

Quote projects typically ranging from $50Kâ $100K, with 2â 3 high-level projects per quarter valued between $500Kâ $10M

Manage a high volume of quotes while maintaining attention to detail and fast turnaround times

Ensure clear communication of project specifications, timelines, and pricing with both internal teams and clients

Qualifications:

3â 5 years of quoting or estimating experience preferred

Experience in at least one of the following industries:

Power Generation (Generators)

HVAC

Data Centers / Server Rooms

Construction Projects

Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with project-based environments

Excellent communication skillsâ both written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple quotes with a strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
