We are looking for new Inbound Freight Associates to join our growing Fulfillment Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Inbound Team Lead and if you are motivated and want to start a career with a rapidly growing company, we want you to hear from you!
Role Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Location: 290,000 sq ft. in Columbus, OH
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 11:00am to 7:30pm EST
Base Pay Rate: $20/hour (paid weekly)
Responsibilities:
Operate machine handling equipment in a safe manner, accurately filling out daily pre-inspection checklist and abiding by all operator safety guidelines
Identify and report all machine handling equipment mechanical and electrical faults to management
Unload freight material according to appointments in a safe and timely manner
Ensure all shipments are accurate and checked for damages
Pick, pack, secure, and load outbound freight orders
Put away dock to stock material within a 24–48-hour threshold
Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Ensure the receiving area and containers are clean, organized, and functioning properly
Adhere to the performance standards and expectations to their assigned department
All other duties as assigned by the Receiving Team Lead and/or SupplyHouse.com management including but not limited to assisting in other departments throughout the fulfillment center and adhering to that department's expectations
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently
Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per day
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to check in and put away materials
