Duties
Serves as the Programs Director, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) for a medium/large garrison with full responsibility and managerial authority to plan and direct FMWR programs on a complex multi-mission Army installation.
Directs and oversees FMWR programs activities. Develops organizational vision, goals, plans, and objectives.
Ensures programs and activities are managed and operated on a sound financial basis, are in compliance with Army policy, and are consistent with baseline standards.
Represents the Garrison Commander for FMWR activities. Serves as the principal advisor and authority on matters impacting the FMWR programs.
Provides technical guidance and administrative oversight through direct and indirect supervision of subordinate supervisors and employees.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience directly related to the duties described above.
Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for a Director FMWR.
Experience must reflect multiple FMWR program work.
Best Qualified:
Possess a minimum of two (2) years experience developing and managing a NAF budget to include demonstrated ability to determine resource needs and allocation of resources of both APF and NAF requirements and analysis of financial data.

This is a pay-banded position.
Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses
