Job Summary:Night Hospitalist responsible for direct patient care by reviewing patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families. Provides general medical care for hospitalized patients and performs procedures in the inpatient setting. Serves as the patient's primary physician during hospitalization.

Job Description:
Night Hospitalist providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.
Review patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
Provide education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families.
Work collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
Practice in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
Charts in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope.
Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
Three full time night Hospitalist openings
Practice Details:
80 hospitalist group with a 4 APPsand 6 Nocturnist
Job Requirements
MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
BE/BC with ABMS or AOA in Internal Medicine required.
Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing and hospital privileges.
ACLS/BLS - required within 180 days of hire

Pay Range
Pay Range: $337,400 to $353,100 per year
The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
