Responsibilities
Ability to understand client requirements and as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills.
Able to review and understand published guidance to gain understanding of processes, systems, and organizations
Meet with stakeholders to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals. Abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and refine/distill user requests to true business needs.
Able to conduct interviews with subject matter experts (functional/technical), sponsors, and participating organizations prior to and during architecture development
Capture, observe and report existing processes and policies in Visio diagrams and as business requirement documentation.
Provide clear qualitative and quantitative information to teams and stakeholders.
Communicate effectively, both orally and written, to varied levels of the organization to include technical personnel, business managers, and senior leadership
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
U.S. Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or STEM discipline (or equivalent in work experience below)
5 or more years of experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills and must be detail oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment, who can also work efficiently alone and in cross functional teams.
Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate to management, peers and customers as well as demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
PREFERRED:
Working knowledge of U.S. Transportation Command, its organization, purpose and structure.
3-5 years of experience in business or solution architecture, business analysis, business process reengineering and/or process improvement
Expertise within a mobility environment focused on transportation, communication, command and control, or finance.
Experience with IT systems requirements, analysis, and engineering.
Knowledge of Visio or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
Collect, organize, correlate, and produce models to describe the artifacts, principles, frameworks and strategy (e.g., scenario design and process flow mapping)
Experience in at least one of the major architecture frameworks (DODAF, Zachman, UAF, FEAF or TOGAF)
Experience with BPMN

Target Salary Range is - $75,000-$90,000.
