We are seeking a motivated and strategic Recruiter to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across multiple departments, including operations, servicing, sales, capital markets, and credit. The ideal candidate is experienced in full-cycle recruiting within the mortgage or financial services industry, passionate about talent acquisition, and excels in a high-performance, dynamic environment.
This role requires a mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on building relationships, enhancing the candidate experience, and supporting workforce planning initiatives.
This position follows a hybrid schedule based out of our Bloomington, MN office, with 2 to 3 days per week onsite.
Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates based outside the area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop ideal candidate profiles.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, feedback management, and offer coordination.
Develop and implement tailored sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, industry networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
Maintain a pipeline of diverse, qualified talent for roles in mortgage operations, servicing, capital markets, credit risk, and compliance.
Create and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS); generate reports on requisitions, hiring metrics, and cost/time-to-hire.
Collaborate with HR leadership on workforce planning, talent gap analysis, and employer branding initiatives.
Provide a positive and transparent candidate experience through proactive communication and engagement.
Stay informed on mortgage industry trends, especially within the non-agency and non-QM lending segments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Organize and participate in virtual job fairs, recruiting campaigns, and other outreach initiatives.
Support process improvements, diversity initiatives, and onboarding programs as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in mortgage or financial services.
Familiarity with non-agency mortgage products, terminology, and industry dynamics.
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience using ATS platforms (Pinpoint), LinkedIn Recruiter/Sales Navigator, and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
Knowledge of relevant hiring regulations and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for specialized mortgage roles such as underwriting, loan servicing, capital markets, or credit risk.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in mortgage hiring.
Background in high-growth or startup environments.
Demonstrated success with diversity recruitment and employer branding initiatives.
