Machine Operator

Job Description

We are actively hiring for the position of Folding Machine Operator for our plant in Arlington, TX

Shift:

2nd shift 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM Monday - Friday

Pay: $15.00 – $22.00

Duties & Responsibilities:

Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day.

Place printed jobs on folding machine and set up to make bifold, trifold, according to job specifications.

Observe folding machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate fold run.

Replace worn out rubber stoppers and adjust to ensure an accurate fold, using hand tools when required.

Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.

Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.

Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and are free of any safety hazards.

Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.

Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively with Press Operator.

Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them.

Ability to multitask with changing priorities.

Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.
