Corporate Controller

Job Description

An experienced Controller is sought by my client, in the HVAC industry. Enjoy full-time employment (not a contract), earning annual salary in the range of $140k - $160k, plus bonus, 401k, PTO and benefits. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial operations for an impressive business anticipating the acquisition of other businesses.

Hybrid work schedule. One week per month is onsite in Las Vegas while other days can be worked remotely. Relocation is also an option.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting.

Collaborate with executive management to develop long-term financial strategies.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in compliance with GAAP.

Integrate the financial systems of newly acquired businesses.

Develop and implement financial policies to enhance operational efficiency.

Manage and mentor the accounting/finance team.

Coordinate with external auditors; ensure compliance.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for business growth.

Monitor cash flow, accounts and other financial transactions.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (additional credentials such as CPA or CMA are desirable).

Sage Intacct experience, including ERP conversions involving Sage Intacct.

M&A experience (especially the buy-side).

Experience performing a wide spectrum of accounting duties.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Skilled user of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Excellent capabilities involving problem solving and decision-making.

At least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Accurate. Detailed. Organized. Deadline-achiever.

Preferred: Service Titan experience.
