Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong understanding of accounting process, month end close, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Prepare monthly balance sheet, income statement, and projections for multiple different entities
Manage all aspects of the general ledger
Oversee treasury administration including cash management and forecasting
Manage bank draws and payment of invoices
Manage the annual audit process
Manage home building insurance requirements and annual insurance audits
Projects assigned by CFO or Senior Management
General understanding of payroll and payroll reporting
Manage the tax process for all tax returns that are prepared by our outside CPA firmREQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
CPA required
5+ years experience in accounting, preferably in home building
QuickBooks and Brix software experience a plus
Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage several companies
