We are seeking a Christ-centered Admissions Coordinator who is called to be part of our Guardian Academy team and is skilled in helping students grow in academic excellence built upon a biblical worldview. If this sounds like your ministry calling, keep reading to see if we’re a match!
As the Guardian Academy Admissions Coordinator, you’ll play a foundational role in assisting the Principal in all areas of Admissions, Enrollments, etc. This will involve the following:
Job Responsibilities:
Tours
Responds to all communication about tours.
Schedules tours with families.
Arranges “Guardian for a day” visits.
Enrollment
Handles applications & enrollment process.
Handles all re-enrollment of current students for new school year.
Sets up parent interviews with school principal.
FACTS
Handles all aspects of FACTS as it relates to enrollment, tuition, transcripts, student files, guardian points, etc.
Tuition & Scholarships
Delinquent reports go to Admissions Coordinator and Controller/Business Office.
Tuition contracts – uses FACTS to determine student tuition.
Heads up the scholarship committee – utilizes Facts information to award scholarships.
OCEN – keeps pulse on any new legislation as it pertains to OCEN scholarships. Is the point person for FLA for OCEN.
Be the contact person with Ed Choice.
Marketing
Newsletter communications
Social Media communications
Marketing meetings with Marcom coordinator
Reception
Overseeing Guardian Angels (Volunteers)
Coordinating with Parent Partners (PTA)
Working reception – answering phone/door.
Coordinating reception coverage (Staff/Dream Team)
Academy operations – outgoing/inbound mail, ordering supplies for the Academy.
Turn in Upkeep/IT/Media requests.
Dispense medicine to students.
Update school and events calendar.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Education field
A Current Ohio Teaching License, or a Permanent Non-Tax Certification (only if required to step in and sub or teach a class)
One Year of Teaching Experience (only if required to step in and sub or teach a class)
All Guardian Academy Staff Members will be asked to comply with both BCI and FBI background checks.
Excellent communication with students, parents, teachers, and staff
Excellent organizational skills
Flexible in fulfilling needs of Guardian Academy when needed (i.e., covering another class if able) and adaptive to last-minute changes
Demonstrate the ability to receive and apply constructive criticism.
Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and calm under pressure and during change
Highly motivated with the ability to work and complete tasks unsupervised
Solution-oriented and a creative problem solver
Patience and the ability to handle students of different age groups.
Time Requirements:
Monday through Friday 7:45am to 3:45pm while school is in operation
Any Teacher In-Service dates as outlined in the Teacher Handbook and annual calendar
Any Staff Meetings required by Principal or any other leader
Any mandatory orientation or extra-curricular activity requested by the school director and/or principal
