Pricing Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Pricing Analyst to be responsible for maintaining cost integrity and pricing accuracy across a designated group our clients suppliers. This role works closely with the Pricing Supervisor and Senior Pricing Analyst to analyze supplier pricing, manage invoice discrepancies, and support cross-functional collaboration with Purchasing and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Location: Remote – Eastern Time Zone Hours

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Price Change Management

Manage and analyze price changes for assigned suppliers.

Assess financial impact and communicate findings to Marketing and Purchasing teams.

Ensure timely and accurate entry of all price changes, including administrative tracking and follow-up.

Supplier Collaboration

Communicate with suppliers to negotiate price increase extensions and resolve significant variances.

Ensure purchasing systems align with supplier requirements (e.g., minimums, case quantities, deals).

Invoice Discrepancy Resolution

Investigate and resolve daily invoice discrepancies related to cost.

Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and debit memos.

Reporting and Analysis

Review and analyze pricing reports to ensure system accuracy.

Monitor key metrics and supplier pricing performance.

Utilize exception reporting to improve pricing accuracy and supplier performance.

Cross-Functional Support

Work closely with Purchasing and Marketing teams to ensure synergy and effective communication.

Participate in special projects and support broader pricing initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Proficiency in pricing systems and purchasing platforms.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Exceptional time management and prioritization abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset.

Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience in pricing, finance, or supply chain roles.

High School diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred (especially in Business, Finance, or related fields).

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
