Business Development Representative

Trevor Frances Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Representative on behalf of our client, a logistics company specializing in the biopharma sector. This role is a key driver of the company's growth strategy, blending strategic sales execution with data-driven decision-making to enhance business success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Opportunity Identification:

+Scrub and vet attendee lists from events and databases to identify and prioritize high-value leads.

+Conduct market research to identify new opportunities through industry platforms and memberships.

+Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.

Sales & Business Development Strategy:

+Develop RFPs, proposals, and presentations to effectively communicate the company's value proposition.

+Generate and maintain reports and trackers to analyze sales performance and market opportunities.

+Conduct competitive analysis and market research to refine sales strategies and identify trends.

Industry Engagement & Relationship Building:

+Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build relationships and assess new business opportunities.

CRM & Data Management:

+Maintain and update leads, campaign details, and activity data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

+Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.

+Recommend and deploy new CRM features to enhance sales and business development activities.

+Document processes, ensuring workflows are clear, efficient, and scalable.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

+Strong experience in business development, sales strategy, and lead generation.

+Expertise in CRM administration, optimization, and process automation.

+Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.

+Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

+Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Ideal Requirements:

+Experience within the Biopharma sector in Canada/US.

+Familiarity with B2B sales and business development strategies.

+ Knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zymewire, and Sales Navigator.

+Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

+Hands-on experience with client engagement and internal communications.

+Proven ability to adapt to industry trends and market developments.
