Finance Manager (Senior Accountant Level)

100% Onsite Oklahoma City, OK

$70,000 - $80,000 base + quarterly and year-end bonus

Company covers 90% of major medical insurance

Our client, a thriving and growth-oriented company in the skilled trades industry, is looking to hire a Finance Manager. While the official title is Finance Manager, this role is ideally suited for someone currently operating at the Senior Accountant level who is eager to take the next step in their career. This is a high-impact role that will support both the day-to-day accounting operations and the financial planning functions of the business.

As the company positions itself for strategic growth, this individual will play a key role in month-end close, journal entries, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. This is an exciting opportunity to grow into a leadership role and eventually manage one accounting clerk.

Responsibilities:

Own the month-end close process, journal entries, and bank reconciliations

Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives

Maintain and improve internal accounting procedures and documentation

Leverage Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs) and QuickBooks Online to manage financial data

Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights

Lead, manage, and hold others accountable in a growing team environment Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5-7 years of hands-on accounting and finance experience

Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)

Experience with QuickBooks Online

Detail-oriented, positive attitude, and strong leadership potential

Ability to work 100% onsite in Oklahoma City Nice to Haves:

CPA designation

Background in the skilled trades industry

Prior experience managing or mentoring team members
