We are currently seeking a Project Manager III at our Jonesboro location. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for successfully managing and implementing Systems Projects. System Projects are traditionally large conveyor systems used within distribution centers or manufacturing facilities. PMs utilize their knowledge of the best practices of Project Management, discipline, connections, and Hytrol acumen to ensure a successful project. The Project Manager works cross-functionally across the Hytrol organization to simultaneously and seamlessly manage various projects. The PM achieves this goal through meticulous record-keeping and monitoring, in addition to standardized workflows and communication templates.
The Project Manager III is an externally facing role and primarily interfaces with the Integration Partner/Customer, the System Project Team, and Hytrol leadership as required. The Project Manager III reports to the Manager of Project Execution. The Project Manager III is expected to travel as required by the project to assist Integration Partners/Customer with on-site integration.
Responsibilities
Manage large-scale conveyor manufacturing projects and programs, ensuring successful, on-time delivery. Provide clear guidance to program PMs and internal resources to foster a high-performance culture. Establish project governance structures and guidelines
Develop program plans aligned with Hytrol's organizational goals. Contribute action plans to long-term project management strategies
Allocate resources effectively and resolve conflicts. Monitor and adjust resource utilization for optimal performance
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Update stakeholders on project status and manage expectations
Identify and mitigate project risks. Implement robust risk management processes
Monitor project performance, implement improvement measures. Recognize project successes to foster a culture of excellence
Develop communication plans and deliver regular status reports. Facilitate project meetings for alignment and collaboration
Proactively manage project changes to minimize disruption. Implement change control processes and communicate impacts
Establish and maintain quality standards, including document control, program stage gate and milestone execution, and KPI performance. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions as required
Identify process improvement opportunities. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of learning Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project coordination or administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing, material handling, or construction environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software (Kyako, AS400, etc.)
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of conveyor systems or manufacturing processes is a plus, but not required
Exemplary in discussing technical subject matter Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. 4 years of Hytrol experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
