We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Crew Chiefs at the Lexington County Collection Sites. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, as we provide all necessary training and development to ensure you are fully prepared for success.
We offer:

Responsibilities:
The Crew Chief is responsible for the general oversight of individuals employed at the various sites via Industrial Services. This position is responsible for transportation of individuals, opening and closing locations as needed, and managing the overall needs of the Collection Sites. The Crew Chief is expected to develop and maintain a cooperative and professional working relationship with colleagues and is expected to represent Babcock Center appropriately and conduct him/herself in a professional manner when interacting with people receiving services, their families, staff from other agencies, customers, and the general public
Job Duties:
Become knowledgeable in all specifications and functioning of the compactors to ensure inspections, reports, notes, and equipment are maintained appropriately and timely.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards and agencies, i.e. SCDDSN licensing regulations, DOL regulations, federal, state and local standards, DHEC requirements, and programmatic regulations.
Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of Personal Outcomes Measures (as defined by The Council on Quality and Leadership) as they relate to vocational/daytime endeavors.
Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the Person-Centered Planning process emphasizing the role of the vocational supports staff in that process.
Properly assess and document to ensure planning and supports are in place to work toward the desired vocational outcomes for each person served.
Ensures that people served are supported to successfully complete contracts and learn new job skills, community concepts and other skills necessary for successful work experiences.
Submits required documentation accurately and on time.
Ensures that work produced/provided is of acceptable quality and sufficient quantity to meet contractual obligations.
Schedules, attends, and/or conducts in-service trainings as appropriate.
Maintains accurate, legible, and timely documentation of progress for each individual served and manages time entry as needed for individuals supported.
Accurately maintain vehicle maintenance and mileage logs as required and that accountability is documented for each person assigned.
Ensures documentation of attendance, medications are received, stored, given, and documented in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Passes medication as needed.
Reports all discrepancies or concerns to the responsible party; i.e. medication shortages, improper labeling, documentation, etc. Qualifications
Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old.
Have positive references from past employment.
Maintain approved driving privileges with Babcock Center.
