SUMMARY
The Giving Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the financial stewardship efforts of Rock City Church. This position is responsible for managing donor records, supporting giving campaigns, generating giving reports, and fostering a culture of generosity and excellence with the church's finance department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, organized, and passionate about helping people grow in their spiritual discipline of giving.
GENERAL DUTIES
DONOR MANAGEMENT
Responsible for donor relationship management
Responsible for the coordination of pastoral workflows related to donor care
Responds to donor inquiries with professionalism, confidentiality and care
Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of all donor information COMMUNICATIONS
Plan and draft communications for donors
Monitor church websites, apps and systems for accurate giving links and ensure their functionality remains intact
Ensure that verbiage and intent across church resources is updated and consistent
Legacy Coordination
Assist in the planning and execution of giving campaigns, Legacy Sundays, and other giving initiatives GIVING REPORTING AND ANALYTICS
Create standard giving reports and communications for central and location leadership
Draft coordinate and publish giving metrics, reports and updates to the church Finance Director and church executive leadership
Respond to requests for giving information quickly and accurately as needed DATA ENTRY AND RECORD KEEPING
Manage and maintain accurate donor records in the church's giving platform
Process and enter all incoming donations with the giving volunteer team
Make in-person deposits as needed and support the finance team with any in-person banking needs
Other duties as assigned SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Notary Public, or willing to be licensed as such
High School degree or GED (required)
Experience in Non-Profit Finance (preferred)
Experience in Excel (required)
Solution and detail oriented
High communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management
Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
