Job Description

Reporting into the VP of Technical Solutions, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead and manage engineering teams to ensure optimal productivity and performance.

Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians across process, manufacturing, and quality engineering disciplines.

Oversee engineering support for production, ensuring efficient operations, root cause analysis, and timely problem resolution.

Drive new product introduction (NPI) projects from design transfer through production readiness.

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost, increase quality, and improve lead times.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Sales.

Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100).

Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and equipment.

Support customer technical engagements, including design for manufacturability (DFM) consultations.

Develop engineering documentation including process flows, work instructions, and PFMEAs.

Recruit, train, and mentor engineering staff to build a high-performance team. The Successful Applicant

A successful Engineering Manager should have:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical device, aerospace, plastics, or high-precision industries.

Strong knowledge of CNC machining, plastics processing, or advanced manufacturing methods.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Proficient with CAD/CAM tools and ERP systems.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. What's on Offer
