What You’ll Do

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for our customers — combining technical insight with commercial impact. Your responsibilities will include:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.

Advising clients on our sensor, safety, and automation solutions.

Developing and executing an annual sales plan to achieve targets in revenue and margin.

Collaborating with Inside Sales, Application Engineers, etc. to prepare quotations and close deals.

Visiting key accounts regularly to identify opportunities and ensure satisfaction.

Staying ahead of industry trends, introducing new products, and representing SICK at trade fairs and customer events.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a proactive, results-oriented professional who:

Has experience in technical B2B sales (preferably in automation, logistics, or industrial solutions).

Is fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Excels at turning leads into successful, long-term customer partnerships.

Is skilled at planning and managing their own customer visits and pipeline.

Enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
