Job Opportunity: Physician - Pediatrics

The Palestine Regional Medical Center is equipped to provide quality healthcare services and is seeking a skilled Pediatric Physician to offer inpatient coverage. This role requires weekday coverage starting from May 2025, with opportunities for in-house call support. The hospital serves a community in need, and your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care. Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient pediatric care, supporting OB/GYN and the emergency department.

Be available for phone consultations and ensure timely responses within a 30-minute call response time.

Participate in a 24-hour call coverage rotation as needed.

Collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient outcomes.

Engage in hospital communication to ensure effective patient care management.

Maintain documentation in the MEDHOST EMR system for all patient encounters. Qualifications:

Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Current NRP certification.

Inpatient care experience preferred.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. License and Certification Requirements:

Active physician license in the state of Texas (temporary privileges available).

Board certification in pediatrics required.

Current NRP certification required.
