Locum General Medicine Physician Opportunity in Sheridan, WY

Join a dedicated team in providing vital Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nation's Veterans. This position is designed for General Medicine Providers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those who served.

This opportunity allows you to work on a PRN basis with flexible hours, including options for half-day and full-day shifts. You'll perform interview-based exams with some physical assessments, all without the responsibilities of prescribing or treatment. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams.

Perform Separation Health Assessments.

Engage in interview-based assessments and some physical evaluations including range of motion and muscle strength testing.

Complete required administrative work, including report submissions and addendums.

Maintain accurate records of exams conducted. Qualifications:

Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine.

Strong understanding of Compensation & Pension processes (preferred).

Ability to own and use a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).

Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified. License and Certification Requirements:

Active and unrestricted full medical license.

AANP certification.
