Responsibilities include, but are not limited:

Respond to escalations for all major and significant incidents (P3 – P1)

Serve as a primary liaison for network operations partnering with other infrastructure teams such as the Systems technical operations team, server, storage, security, SRE and MIT application teams.

Maintain and operate network solutions (routers, firewalls, switches, wireless, appliances) across the enterprise landscape with a focus on reliability, throughput, scalability, and security which will help us scale with the needs of the business.

Provide a level of escalation in response to incidents/requests regarding network performance and configuration, including off hour’s escalations.

Lead in enhancing Renown Health’s network infrastructure, ensuring robust and efficient network performance to support patient care and administrative applications.

Obsolescence - Work to consolidate or replace legacy technologies with newer services, hardware and applications that drive continuous improvement and mitigate network failures and resiliency risks.

Technical point for collaborating with various IT teams, clinical departments, Customer engagement centers (CEC), external vendors to deliver high quality networking solutions.

Communicate status updates to Service Delivery Director, and other Senior business leaders where necessary.

Maintain network documentation, run-books, diagrams, and network assets in the configuration management database (CMDB)

Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards to improve our service offerings.

Required Qualifications:

Experience with OSPF and BGP routing between Data Center Colo and Cloud providers

Proficiency in configuring and managing VPCs, deployment, and troubleshooting

Basic knowledge of network security services, including firewalls and VPNs

Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS etc.).

Proficiency in using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Ngrep, Nmap, SolarWinds, Thousand eyes)

Responsible for supporting the planning, design, implementation, transition and management of the complex modern Testing Infrastructure (TI) data center infrastructure.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity, load-balancing, fabric infrastructure, storage networking, planning network services, automation, and orchestration.

Design, maintain and troubleshoot the Data Center Layer 2 overlays such as VXLAN, EPLAN and EVPN.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Certifications such as CCNP are required and CCIE or equivalent experience preferred.

Ability to identify, initiate and implement solutions to business problems.

Ability to articulate complex technical findings to management clearly and concisely.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and technical support staff as needed
