Our 120,000 square foot Fitchburg, MA manufacturing facility is capable of serving customers’ projects from concept to commercialization.

JOB PURPOSE

The Warehouse Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring efficient workflow. You’ll take responsibility for all aspects of shipping to our customers, receiving all raw materials into the ERP system, and leading the warehouse operation while being an active hands-on member of the team. Precise and accurate attention to all details of shipments going in and out of Micron is essential. Following shipping and receiving procedures that adhere to our ISO standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage the shipment and receipts of all products, materials and supplies

Collaborate and communicate with Operations and Production Controller on open orders and shipments weekly for any changes or pull ins

Coordinate and direct shipping activities

Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing and distributing product.

Work with Injection and Machining department on all scrap keeping it neat and organized to be sold

Coordinate all scrap metal, regrind, silver reclaim to be picked up monthly with vendors

Schedule and coordinate truck pick ups as applicable with Account Manager for international shipments (mostly Sensor product)

Create packing slips and all related documents needed for a shipment utilizing ERP (IQMS) system

Move inventory to receiving location for incoming as needed in our ERP system

Shrink wrap pallets for shipments

Ship products to Secondary Sources and maintain paperwork until arrival back

Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sort stock accordingly

Maintain Warehouse and keep clean and neat

Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment for safety and maintenance.

Engage with Vendors with a positive attitude

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years related experience.

Ability to read and write in English

Ability to work independently and within a Team

Strong sense of organization and urgency

Good written and verbal communication skills

Forklift Certified

Ability to perform basic math and interpret and execute work instructions

Occasionally lifting or moving average weight material (up to 50 lbs)

International shipping knowledge preferred

Repetitive hand work and grasping of small components
