QA Technician

Position Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Wage: $23.00 - $33.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 7:00am 3:00pm or 3:00pm 11:00pm

Quality Assurance Technician Responsibilities:

- Utilize blueprints and other customer-supplied documents to check conformity of product to geometric dimensioning and tolerances

- Perform inspection of set-up, in process, and final piece parts

- Gather SPC data and determine process capability

- Maintain quality control standards and procedures

- Maintain fixtures and tooling in the QC Department

- Attend training courses or seminars and assist project teams when required

- Resolve quality issues with customers and follow-up on corrective actions

Requirements for Quality Assurance Technician:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- At least two years of previous experience in the Quality Field as a Technician, Inspector, SPC Coordinator, or Quality Lead Person

- Machining experience a plus

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mechanical Inspection, Blueprint reading (GD&T), SPC data, CAD Software, Gauge Calibration, Military Standards, Machining knowledge, Visual Comparators, CMM

- Quality minded and strong attention to detail

- Strong math and measuring ability

- Punctual, dependable, and reliable attendance

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Able to receive and comprehend instructions
