We are seeking a highly skilled Web Applications Programmer for a Sacramento-based position, responsible for developing and implementing user interface, web services, and database applications for the organization's website and Intranet. This role involves analyzing, designing, and maintaining Internet/Intranet technical architecture while integrating third-party systems and recommending best practices for production and design techniques. Pay: $60/hour.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, program, and implement .NET-based solutions with a focus on user experience, cross-browser compatibility, and seamless integration with APIs, services, and databases.
Research, analyze, prototype, and document enterprise web applications that integrate third-party systems while ensuring quality assurance through unit testing and lifecycle management.
Develop and maintain enterprise web components using technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#.NET, REST, SQL, and more, while managing content, databases, and system security.
Maintain adherence to federal and state regulations, stay updated on industry best practices, and provide guidance to less experienced team members to ensure strong development standards.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years in web development and maintenance, including a minimum of 4 years of .NET/C# experience and 1 year of Sitecore expertise.
Strong oral and written communication skills required to manage web application implementation, prepare recommendations, and conduct analysis. Must have the manual dexterity to operate computers and standard office equipment efficiently.
Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, C#, WCF, ASP.NET, Entity Framework) and development environments (Visual Studio, TFS). Proficiency in coding languages such as HTML, JavaScript, SOAP, REST, jQuery, CSS, AJAX, JSON, and SQL.
Skilled in multi-tier software architecture, object-oriented design, requirement gathering, Agile and Waterfall SDLC, and core systems infrastructure, including operating systems, web servers, and databases.
