POSITION SUMMARY:
Indivior is looking for a US GAAP Accountant / SEC Reporting Manager at its Richmond, VA headquarters. This is a newly created and highly visible position as Indivior prepares for a potential secondary stock exchange listing in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all accounting measurement differences between IFRS and US GAAP, preparation of the initial US GAAP SEC registration statement, and development of processes and procedures to fulfil subsequent ongoing quarterly and annual reporting requirements. This position will be an integral team member during the planning and implementation phase of the US listing project and will work closely with other financial and non-financial project leaders. As the US reporting process becomes embedded, this role has the potential to grow with business partnering and/or other
opportunities within Indivior’s finance organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Identifying and calculating accounting measurement differences between IFRS and US GAAP.
Leverage existing infrastructure for UK reporting (and IFRS) to draft US GAAP financial statements and SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
Preparing schedules to support financial statement disclosures, including monitoring US GAAP and SEC requirements and updates as applicable.
Researching technical accounting practices as they apply to special cases.
Managing the process of XBRL tagging for SEC filings.
Coordinate and work closely with Internal Audit and external auditors.
Maintain all lease accounting and administration, including any monthly reporting requirements.
Prepare General Ledger entries and reconciliations for month-end to close books in a timely manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
5-7 years accounting experience
3+ years of SEC reporting experience
CPA required, MBA a plus
Below 5% domestic travel
Previous experience with a Big 4 firm preferred
SAP experience preferred
