DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - Up to €120,000
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes experience and a background in consulting to join a dynamic and growing team working across multiple client environments. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure solutions while advising clients on DevOps best practices.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing, project-driven environment and is comfortable working in both Dutch and English.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments
Automate infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment strategies and system reliability
Act as a consultant to clients, advising on cloud architecture, DevOps strategies, and tooling
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in complex environments
Conduct technical workshops and support change management processes
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE or vanilla K8s)
Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment is highly desirable
Proficient in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
Cloud certifications are a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Language Requirements
Fluent in Dutch and English – both written and spoken
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
