Golang Software Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Software Developer to join our team, with a primary focus on debugging, supporting, and enhancing existing applications. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience and strong programming skills in either C# or Java or Golang, along with solid SQL proficiency in MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing software applications.

Maintaining applications built in micro-services architecture

Analyze legacy code and enhance existing systems for better performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Implement bug fixes, security patches, and system updates in a timely manner.

Collaborate with business analysts and support teams to understand user-reported issues and develop effective solutions.

Write and maintain clear technical documentation related to application updates and fixes.

Perform impact analysis and regression testing for system changes.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and application support.

Strong programming skills in C# or Java or Golang.

Quick learner who has to ability to learn Golang

Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries, with experience in MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex technical challenges.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with debugging tools and performance monitoring.

Knowledge of software change management and release processes.

Familiarity with logging frameworks and error tracking tools.

Exposure to ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.

Salary: $70,000/Annually
